Toy Doctor Auto Repair

I used Toy Doctor for a second opinion on my Toyota Highlander Hybrid. They were very responsive, helpful, and waived the diagnostics fee in order to provide their opinion. They then provided competitive pricing and worked with me to stay in budget on a large repair. Communication with the team was easy and the job was done well and on time. The also provide better nationwide warranty terms than the dealership. Highly recommend.

I was dealing with a complicated situation which other shop I spoke to wanted to touch. I had a 1985 Toyota 4Runner which recently had a custom built engine performed by a company in California. I needed a reliable mechanic in the Denver area to assess an oil leak and communicate with this company to determine if the issue was covered under their warranty. Toy Doctor gladly assisted and performed the diagnostics I needed, in a timely manner and at the originally agreed upon price. When it was determined that the vehicle needed to be shipped to California, they agreed to have the vehicle picked up at their shop and sent me photos when the carrier arrived. Special thanks to Rachel for her impeccable communication and tremendous patience. This is the best mechanic I have ever worked with, hands down. Their reputation is well-deserved.

This is the only mechanic I trust in Denver. If I have an issue with my car, they immediately get me in the same day because they want to car to be safe to drive. They are very responsive, so friendly and are great at what they do. The price is very fair for the work they do. They always attach photos so you can see what the damage actually is to your car. Amazing mechanic and the only one I trust!

I found Toy Doctor in a blown-radiator emergency - calling around for tows and repairs, and finally Toy Doctor was recommended and I haven’t looked back. Even in that first incident, they quickly hooked me up with a tow from Lakewood that came out way more affordable than tows in my area. In the repair process I am always so grateful for their use of the Tekmetric platform that has all my car details, work progress, and detailed estimates of cost and work for me to either approve or decline. I no longer have to wonder what the costs will be, and I don’t question the work because it’s all laid out for me, and I have yet to pay over their estimated repair, parts and labor! Aside from these great aspects, the folks at Toy Doctor are very kind and immediately helpful with any and all inquiries, they’re accommodating: and when I needed to pick up items in my car mid-service, they were quick to grab what I needed and when a small item broke in their search, they quickly found a solution to replace it! For all these reasons I will always recommend Toy Doctor for any service you need - they are quick, affordable, considerate, and very transparent and accurate!

I have taken both my Subaru and Mazda CX 5 to Toy Doctor and both experiences were fantastic. My Subaru Forester needed an entire front axle replacement. Toy Doctor completed this repair in just two days and at a super reasonable price, below what I was expecting to pay. On my 2023 Mazda, I needed my tail light assembly replaced (Mazda has made it near impossible to replace at home). I called the dealership and they quoted me between $200-$300 to replace on top of the >$500 part. I sourced my own part and took it to Toy Doctor to install, and they were well below the dealership cost and done in under an hour. Highly recommend Toy Doctor - staff is super friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable, and they don't try to oversell you.

I feel like I paid them to tell me what I already knew what was wrong with my vehicle and if I would’ve told them about the other stuff that was wrong they would’ve told me the same thing for when they were diagnosing my vehicle, I probably should’ve just went to the dealership but I rarely trust shops to diagnose my vehicle cause I usually do better diagnosing than shops, and I’m not even fully ASE certified or have a master automotive technician certification which I will continue to pursue since I just get told the same thing I tell shops what’s wrong with my vehicle before they diagnose my vehicle. But the people inside were very nice and there’s coffee and soda in the lobby :)
